I'm Mateo Correa, a Computer Science Junior concentrating in Computer Systems at Carnegie Mellon University.

I chose Computer Science because of my passion for software security and systems-level programming. I love how the industry constantly evolves and always has something new to learn. I plan to build upon this passion during my time at Carnegie Mellon University.

I am exploring this fascination through projects like a command-line interface application to send and receive remote files. Through these projects, I have learned much about the collaborative tools and development cycles found within open-source software.

I plan to improve my collaborative and analytical skills as a computer scientist through internships in software security and operating systems.
